Adele Senior undertook a six-week residency.

Biography

Adele is a PhD candidate in Theatre Studies at the Lancaster Institute for the Contemporary Arts, Lancaster University, UK. 

Her thesis, funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council, considers the aesthetics, ethics and politics of bioart through a critical examination of the theory and practice of the Tissue Culture and Art Project (TC&A).

Research project

As part of her doctoral studies Senior undertook a six-week residency, where she conducted interviews with TC&A’s artists and observed the laboratory based practices of other artists in residence.
