Time of residency 2003 and 2004

Williams, a science fiction writer and academic proposed a writing residency where she fictionally critiques science and extrapolates from it into short and long narrative forms.  Williams experiments with multiple and partial perspectives, non-anthropocentric world views, post-human evolution and cyborg writing.

A part time Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Science Postgraduate Dean’s Award was awarded early in 2003.  Following this initial residency ArtsWA, Dept of Culture and the Arts funded a one year Creative Fellowship for Williams over 2004/2005.
