"What started as a rebellion against mediocrity soon turned into a journey through magical, mystical, philosophical and theological landscapes. Where art now captures the living process of self-revelation and writing has become the practice of abominable myth-making. Bookmarks in time the question remains: are they remembrances for self-reflection? Or memorials of transcendence?

My background in Philosophy (Love and Death), Gandhian Non-Violence and Ritual Performance, Environmental Conservation, has led to a continual engagement with the intimacy of remaining with the 'dying self' as it 're-births' into the new. Where meanings are constantly shifting from the known to the unknown, and the unknown to the known.

As an artist I explore the aesthetics of religion by combining old worlds with new, whilst drawing on my personal experiences with faith and truth where the two often collide, yet the mystery always remains".
