SymbioticA is a place where emphasis is placed on developing critical thought, discussing ethical and cultural issues and encouraging cross-disciplinary experimentation in art and science. At the same time SymbioticA encourages the phenomenological hands on engagement with the tools and techniques of science (mainly the life sciences). SymbioticA has established an academic programme for both undergraduate and postgraduate students where they have hands on experience with life sciences.
